- I have a Cardinal MVP288i modem that's been working well for me.
- However, I'm experiencing a strange problem and would appreciate
- thoughts!
-
- At times, when trying to make a SLIP connection or a dial up
- connection (BBS), my modem will not connect with the remote modem
- because it falsely thinks the line is busy. [I know this because
- after several repeat attempts, I use a voice line (same line, same
- jack) to make sure the other modem is open, then wait for a short time
- for hang up, try again, and the same thing happens.]
-
- my init string is AT&F&C!&D2S95=46. It's also happened with the
- default init string.
-
- Any thoughts would be appreciated
